UNH Network Services provides Internet and Internet 2 service as part of the The University System of New Hampshire Wide Area Network.
Internet connections include Gigabit service from Global Crossing and OC3 ATM service from Verizon Business with connection points in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Internet 2 is provided by the Northern Crossroads GigaPoP in Boston MA.
There are firewalls and bandwidth management equipment between the UNH LAN and our Internet connections. See diagram.
