Some AppMan users received an error message when attempting to log into AppMan. System administrators have resolved the issue.

Some users are experiencing difficulties when trying to print to UNH networked printers.

Resolved: Unplanned Service Interruption: Parent Portal Password Issues on Tues. 11/18

Issues with Parent Portal temporary passwords have been resolved.
 
If you find that you are still having issues with a new Parent Portal account that was created this week, please set the account to Inactive and create a new account. If you need any assitance, please contact the UNH IT Service Desk at 603-862-4242.

Users of the Parent Portal are currently unable to enter the system using temporary passwords. Temporary passwords are provided to new users and when passwords are reset by the student. 

Users with functional passwords are not affected by this issue.

Searches in Microsoft Exchange are currently compromised. System Administrators are aware of the issue and working to rebuild the impacted databases. During this time, Exchange users will not be able to search in Outlook Web App.

Some locations are without network connectivity this morning. Locations include: Jackson Lab, Cooperative Extension at Mast Rd., Burley-Demeritt Farm, and multiple GSDLN sites.

System administrators are working with network vendors to resolve this issue.

There was a brief interruption to resources accessed via the UNH VPN. While the VPN remained connected, the outage impacted accessiblity to Enterprise applications such as Banner and WebI. The issue has been resolved.

If you are experiencing issues accessing any VPN-restricted resources, please log out of the VPN and back in. If the problem persists, please contact the UNH IT Service Desk at 603-862-4242.

There is currently a power failure to the Telecom closet in McLaughlin Hall, resulting in a loss of wired and wireless connectivity. System administrators are working on the issue and expect it to be resolved by 9:30 AM.

The Security Alert will no longer appear for Outlook users.

Users accessing Exchange email through Outlook may notice a Security Alert popup when opening Outlook. The Security Alert window references groot.ad.unh.edu.

This sever is trustworthy and you may safely proceed by clicking the Yes button.

System administrators are aware of the Security Alert notice and are working to keep it from appearing in the future.

Unplanned Service Interruption: Wireless Connectivity for OS X Yosemite

Users of OSX Yosemite, Apple's newest Mac operating system, may notice that their wireless connections are unstable and/or excessively slow. Apple's forums indicate this is a global issue. 

If you are currently using Yosemite and have noticed wireless connectivity problems since upgrading, please run the configuration applet here. If the issue persists, please contact the UNH IT Service Desk at 603-862-4242.

UNH Telecom is working with Cloudpath, our vendor for wireless configuration software, to monitor Apple's response to the issue. Updates will be provided on it.unh.edu as they become available.
