What is MyUNH/Blackboard?
Blackboard is a program that makes course information, announcements, assignments, tests, and supplementary materials available via the Internet, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Blackboard also gives you access to on-line discussion groups, live chat rooms, file transfer utilities, and virtual field trips -- all through an easy-to-use Web interface.Who can get a MyUNH/Blackboard account?
Blackboard accounts are automatically created for UNH, GSC and UNHM Faculty, Staff and Students registered for credit courses. UNH applicants are also granted Blackboard accounts once their application has been processed by the Admissions Office or Graduate School. UNH and GSC have separate Blackboard portals, named MyUNH and MyGranite. MyUNH is available at https://blackboard.unh.edu and MyGranite is available at https://blackboard.granite.edu.How do I get started?
UNH and UNHM Users:To obtain your Username and to set your password:
- Go to https://blackboard.unh.edu
- Click the Login Help tab at the top of the web page
- Click on "New user?"
- Follow the on-screen instructions
Note: Students who are unable to retrieve their Username with their UNH ID Number and date of birth, should contact the UNH Registrar's Office at 603-862-1500 to verify their registration and personal data. Employees should contact UNH Human Resources at 603-862-0501 to verify their employment status and personal data.
UNH and UNHM Prior Students:To obtain your Username and to set your password:
- Go to https://blackboard.unh.edu
- Click the Login Help tab at the top of the web page
- Click on "New user?"
- Follow the on-screen instructions
- After retrieving your Username and creating a password, log into http://blackboard.unh.edu
- Click the Webcat/Student Services tab
- Click the Continue button in the UNH - Access Webcat module

GSC Users:To obtain your Username and to set your password:
- Go to https://blackboard.granite.edu
- Click the Login Help tab at the top of the web page
- Click on "New user?"
- Follow the on-screen instructions
Note: Students who are unable to retrieve your Username with their GSC ID Number and date of birth, should contact the GSC Registrar's Office at 603-513-1387 to verify their employment status and personal data.
What if I forgot or want to change my password?

UNH users, go to the MyUNH Login Help page to change or reset your password.

Granite State College users, go to the MyGranite Login Help page to change or reset your password.

When are MyUNH/Blackboard accounts disabled?
Students: Students will retain their MyUNH/Blackboard accounts indefinitely so that they can access their student records.
Faculty/Staff: The Human Resources employee termination process is directly related to disabling of computer accounts. On an employee's termination date his or her MyUNH/Blackboard account will be automatically disabled. If you want an account disabled prior to an employee leaving the University, please call the UNH IT Service Desk at 862-4242. Click here for more information on the deactivation of computer accounts.
