The Faculty Instructional Technology Summer Institute (FITSI) is a weeklong, hands-on learning experience that takes place each year on the Durham campus. A limited number of faculty and instructors in full-time, permanent teaching positions are chosen to participate.

FITSI 2014 

Join your faculty colleagues in an immersive learning experience. Explore new technology–based teaching strategies, talk with colleagues from other disciplines about common instructional challenges, participate in hands–on workshops, and develop materials in support of a course you teach! 

You are a good candidate for FITSI 2014 if you:

  • Want to explore technologies that support teaching and learning
  • Have approval from your department chair to apply to participate
  • Are full-time, permanent faculty, lecturer, senior lecturer, or a librarian at UNH Durham or Manchester
