The Faculty Instructional Technology Summer Institute (FITSI) is a weeklong, hands-on learning experience that takes place each year on the Durham campus. A limited number of faculty and instructors in full-time, permanent teaching positions are chosen to participate.

FITSI 2013 Focus: Teaching Online

Are you curious about teaching online? FITSI 2013 will delve into the tools and technologies, strategies and pedagogies that are unique to teaching in the online environment. Don't miss this chance to explore new technology-–based teaching strategies, talk to colleagues from other disciplines about teaching online, participate in hands-–on workshops, and get a head start in developing your online course! 

You are a good candidate for FITSI 2013 if you:

  • Want to explore technologies that support online teaching and learning
  • Have approval from your department chair to teach an online course in AY 2013-2014
  • Are full-time, permanent faculty, lecturer, senior lecturer, or a librarian at UNH Durham or Manchester
